How I work

Clear scope, fixed price, weekly demos.

You work with one person you can always reach. This page covers how I work, what it costs, and how I cover the one real risk of hiring an individual.

Three ways to work together

  • Project. Fixed price after a scoping phase. Best for campaign systems, lead platforms, websites and product MVPs. Typical duration: 4 to 12 weeks.
  • Retainer. A monthly block of hours with a response-time commitment, for teams that want the same person to keep evolving the platform. Typical: 10 to 40 hours a month.
  • Day rate. For agencies and product teams that need senior capacity inside their own process. Billed weekly, NDA included.

What it typically costs

Prices are published so you can decide quickly whether we're a fit.

  • Performance & SEO audit with fixes: €2,500 to €5,000
  • Campaign & landing page system: €6,000 to €15,000
  • Website your team can run: €8,000 to €20,000
  • Lead generation & partner integration platform: €15,000 to €45,000
  • Custom platform or digital product MVP: €25,000 to €45,000+
  • Retainer: €600 to €2,000 a month
  • Day rate for agencies: €480 to €640

Every project gets a fixed price after scoping. The range depends on integrations, number of templates, languages and how much of the design already exists. Prices in EUR. No VAT is added.

The process

  1. 1

    Week 0

    Brief and scoping

You fill in a short brief. We have a 45-minute call.

Output Within five working days you get a written proposal: scope, milestones, timeline, price, and what I need from your side.

  2. 2

    Week 1

    Foundations

Data model, design system, project setup on your repository and hosting.

Output You get a staging URL on day 3.

  3. 3

    Weeks 2 to N

    Build in weekly demos

Every week you see working software, not mock-ups. Feedback is discussed on the call and lands in the next week's plan. Scope changes are written down and priced before they're built.

  4. 4

    From launch day

    Launch and after

Performance check, accessibility check, analytics and tracking, DNS, and 72 hours on call. Then documentation, a one-hour training, and either a retainer or a clean goodbye.

How I de-risk working with one person

The honest question when hiring an individual is: what if something happens to him? Here's how that's covered.

  • You own everything from day one. Code lives in your repository, on your hosting, under your accounts. I never hold a project hostage, technically or contractually.
  • Documented, readable, replaceable. I write code and documentation so another senior developer can pick it up without me. Clear structure, no clever tricks, no undocumented plugins holding the site together.
  • Backup capacity. I have a standing arrangement with a senior developer who can step in for critical issues if I’m unavailable. The arrangement is named in the contract. [[TODO: confirm backup developer]]
  • Handover is contractual. The Master Service Agreement includes a defined handover procedure. Continuity is written into the contract.
  • A track record you can check. One client has relied on me as their sole technical partner for eight years and 100+ projects. That’s the longest reliability test I can offer, and you can ask them. [[TODO: confirm the reference]]
  • Direct line, always. I reply within one working day. The person who replies is the person who fixes it.

What I need from you

One decision-maker who can approve scope and design. Access to your brand assets, existing analytics and any systems we integrate with. Feedback within three working days of each demo. That's it.

Documents you'll receive

  • Discovery questionnaire
  • Proposal with three-phase pricing
  • Master Service Agreement
  • Statement of Work
  • Kickoff pack with access checklist
  • Handover documentation

Guides for marketing leaders

Liviu’s note

The brief isn’t a document for the studio. It’s a document for you, to clarify what you need before anyone starts building.

The clearer you are at the start, the better everything that follows.

Frequently asked

WordPress or custom?

Whichever fits the problem. Marketing sites and campaign systems are usually WordPress with a custom theme. Products with users, real-time features or complex data get Next.js, PostgreSQL and a proper backend. I’ll tell you which and why in the proposal.

Do you work with our agency?

Yes. I often build what an agency designed, or design what an agency will run. I can also work directly under your agency’s brand.

Can you start next week?

Usually within two to three weeks. Audits and small retainers can start faster.

Does it matter where you're based?

No. I work remotely, in English, Monday to Friday 09:00 to 18:00 EET. Contracts are under English law by default.

What happens if we stop halfway?

You keep everything built and paid for, with documentation. Payment is per milestone, so nothing is prepaid for work that hasn’t happened.

Do you charge VAT?

No VAT is added to my invoices. Businesses in other EU countries are invoiced under the reverse charge and account for VAT in their own country, as with any EU supplier. My EU VAT number can be checked in VIES.
