Context
Large associations often need formal votes to validate decisions.
But when voting members are senior executives across multiple organizations, scheduling live meetings becomes a bottleneck.
The objective was to build a remote voting system that enables:
- Distributed participation without coordinating schedules
- Voting rights proportional to each member’s organization weight
- Transparent participation tracking
- Optional public results and optional vote anonymity
This is not a “survey tool”. It is a governance workflow that needed reliability and control.
The Challenge
Members have different voting weights and some represent multiple entities.
Votes must be secure and non-duplicable.
Participation needs to be trackable in real time.
Results may need to be public or confidential.
Basically this was not a poll, it was a governance mechanism.
The system had to balance simplicity for voters and control for administrators.
The Approach
Instead of requiring accounts and logins, the platform operates through unique voting tokens.
Each member:
- Is registered with a defined voting weight
- Receives one unique link per vote right
- Can use each link only once
Campaigns can include multiple questions, with flexible voting rules:
- Single choice
- Multiple choice
- Optional anonymous voting
- Optional public result display
Administrators can monitor participation live and close voting manually or automatically after a defined time window.
The experience is easy for members and structured for decision-makers.
User Experience Principles
- No login friction
- No duplicate voting
- Clear visibility of participation
- Flexible transparency settings
- Predictable and time-controlled campaigns
The platform feels simple on the surface, but enforces structured governance behind it.
Business Value
- Enables distributed decision-making
- Reduces dependency on physical meetings
- Ensures weighted voting integrity
- Supports both transparency and confidentiality
- Scalable for repeated campaigns
Decisions can now be made when needed, not when everyone is available.
If you're building something that needs to perform, scale and last, let's talk.
